The FSC investigates all cases of possible unlicensed activity with a particular emphasis on the prevention of fraud.

This section aims to warn about individuals or organisations that may be offering unauthorised financial products or services. The FSC recommends that prior to entering into any financial or business arrangement with an individual or company holding out as being authorised by the FSC to operate in or from within the Turks and Caicos Islands, you should either check the authorisation listing on this website or contact us.

If you are aware of any individual or organisation purporting to be authorised by the Financial Services Commission when they are not, please contact us.

Financial Services Commission Current Enforcement Actions

3/7/09 - Public Warning No. 1 of 2009 (3rd July, 2009)
The Turks & Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission is issuing this public warning under section 37(3) of the Financial Servics Commission Ordinance 2007.

9/2/10 - Public Warning No. 1 of 2010 (9th February, 2010) - ORDER LIFTED 9/4/10
The Public is hereby notified that pursuant to Sections 13 and 15 of the 1989 Insurance Ordinance (As amended) Sagicor Capital Life Insurance Company has been ordered to cease writing any new business effective 09 February 2010 until further notice.

1/10/10 - Public Warning No. 2 of 2010 (1st October, 2010)
The Financial Services Commission has on 1st October, 2010 suspended the following licence until Friday, December 3rd, 2010 under Section 34 of The Financial Services Commission Ordinance 2007.

23/12/10 - Public Warning No. 3 of 2010 (23rd December, 2010)
Pursuant to Section 34 of the Financial Services Commission Ordinance, notice is hereby given that Barnett and Associates, LICENCED TO CONDUCT THE BUSINESS OF COMPANY MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN REVOKED AS OF DECEMBER 23, 2010. 

25/3/11 - Public Warning No. 2 of 2011 (25th March, 2011)
The Financial Services Commission has on March 17th, 2011 revoked the following licences under Section 34 (1) (a) of The Financial Services Commission Ordinance.
