Director of Human Resources & Administration (Acting)
After completing Bar School in 2018, Camardia Higgs began her career with the Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission as an Analyst in the Bank and Trust Department. Driven by a strong passion for human resources and administration, she transitioned to the Human Resources and Administration Department in 2021 as Office Manager. Demonstrating exceptional capability and commitment, Ms. Higgs progressed through the ranks, first as Senior Human Resources Manager, then as Deputy Director.
Currently serving as the Acting Director of Human Resources and Administration, Ms. Higgs provides strategic leadership and direction for all human resources and organizational development functions within the Commission. Her leadership is instrumental in advancing long-term organizational sustainability, improving operational effectiveness, and ensuring business continuity.
Ms. Higgs holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in Financial Services Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons) from the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom. She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College. In addition, she is a certified human resources practitioner and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), having obtained her certification in 2022.
